Feed Me Ramen!

Hi Friends,

I'm so happy to share another AMAZING find in this beautiful city! First let me start by saying that I had never tried Ramen prior to this so I didn't really know what to expect. I was very excited to try it as I had read online that TAJIMA was one of the best places for ramen and all of the reviews confirmed that it was the most authentic Japanese cuisine. They have several locations in San Diego, one in Long Beach, and one in Tijuana. I decided to go to the one in East Village for dinner with my husband and I was not dissapointed. Their menus are simple to understand which is perfect for any newbie.

Hola Amigos,

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff. I loved the decor of this place, and the vibe was great. I felt like this was the perfect place to hang out with friends and family, to unwind and eat delicious food.

To begin my Ramen Experience I decided to order:

Gyoza:Pan fried pork dumplings served with ponzu sauce (they were delicious, didn't want to share them)

Mango Sake (SO GOOD!!!)

& Jonathan ordered a beer (per usual😅)

For our main dish we of course both ordered Ramen. Jonathan got the Tajima Ramen (pic above) and I got the Spicy Sesame Ramen (pic below)

All I have to say is : I NEED TO VISIT THEM AGAIN!
I'm officially obsessed with this. It was so good and it was so much food, I had to take some in a to go container.
Both Jonathan and I came to the conclusion that the Spicy Ramen was our favorite.
The pork melts in your mouth and it's packed with so much flavor. The broth was creamy and I also loved the fact that they give you a choice of noodles (Thin, fat, spinach, or gluten free)

Can't wait to visit this place again. Now that I fell in love with Ramen I'll be craving it every day.
